My kids all liked the Todd Parr books. WE had "The Mommy Book" and "The Family Book". They are very simple, not in-depth discussions, but charming and kids love them.

I don't have children, but I have some professional exposure to children's books. I have a couple of books I could recommend, but your question is worded to imply that you are looking specifically for the opinions of other parents. Would you like to hear my suggestions or would you prefer to keep it to those with first hand experience with children?
