Have you read Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult - not a big fan of Picoult, but I really liked this one.
The Wonder by Emma Donohue - I also liked a lot.
Just finished Saints for All Occasions and really enjoyed it - Very strong female leads (maybe too strong)
Not so new: American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld
