J.M. Brister Have you tried Raymond E. Feist?

Kate Jennifer Roberson has the Tiger and Del series and the Cheysuli series. I liked those. They arent really epic fantasy though. If you end up liking Roberson, try Kate Elliott and Melanie Rawn. And of course, there is George R R Martin when it comes to epic fantasy.

Hannah I haven't tried Feist yet, but I was going to. Maybe now I will :)

Hannah I haven't heard of Jennifer Robertson. I do have George RR Martin already but I haven't read them. Wasn't sure if I would like him or not. Thanks

Kate I read Feist years ago and liked what I read if it helps to get another recommendation!

Kate David Eddings perhaps. Patrick Rothfuss is great!

Hannah theres no way to share ebooks on here is there?

message 8: by Kate (new)

Kate I personally am not a huge fan of George RR Martin, but everyone I know is. Roberson was more popular back in the 90's. Its pretty light reading, but I really enjoy those two series.

Kate I dont know if you can share e-books. My nook wont let me unless its one of the "lend me" books.

Nicole Did you ever try David Eddings? I can't remember. It seems like I might have had a conversation with you about it. Also, I love Brandon Sanderson's books. Elantris is great!
