Have you read Robin Hobb's three other series set in the same world (Liveship Traders, The Tawny Man, The Rain Wild Chronicles)? If you liked the 'Farseer' trilogy, odds are good you'll like the others too.
The name of the wind and The Wise Mans Fear both by Patrick Rothfuss are astounding! My first dabble with this genre and now cant get enough. Highly recommend BUT beware the third book in the trilogy is not yet released and still has no date and I am desperate for it to come out!
'The Kingkiller Chronicles' certainly is an exceptional fantasy series, one of the best I've ever read. Rothfuss sure is taking his sweet time on 'The Doors of Stone' though. I can't wait either... and I'm in the midst of so many unfinished series right now it fairly makes my head spin! :-)
