Hi Kerry, "A Search in Secret India" is not directly about Buddhism but about a skeptic journalist in the 1930s traveling to India in order to debunk the newspaper stories about magical yogis. Long story short: He becomes a guru himself. Was my book guru for many years until I read J.M. Masson's book "My Father's Guru". Then I realized that this Paul Brunton always only chased enlightenment rather concentrating on becoming the best person he could possibly be. Whatever, the above book is absolutely enchanting to read. The following books are no bad reads either, but we have to talk about them some other time.
