Ender's Game. You'll like it!
Oh, and Coming Up For Air that I am currently reading is pretty funny. A smooth read too.
Read the Story of an Hour. It's like 35 pages. Couldn't go wrong with it. Have you read Charlotte's Web? It's children's literature at its finest.
Ender's Game is a good book indeed. Another recommendation for an easy but well written book would be 'The Help' by Kathryn Stockett. Or the 'Book of Negroes' by Lawrence Hill.

If you want to read something fun and you like science fiction, you should read the Cyberiad by Stanislaw Lem. It's about all the important things in life such as love, free will, and adorable robots.
