Thank you Caroline. What does she write about? I mean, is she partial to one state (like Hiaasen)? Have you read any Christopher Moore or Hiaasen?
She's actually a (British) young adult writer (which I thought you wouldn't mind since you read TFIOS). Totally hilarious, the tonal opposite of TFIOS. Nothing like Hiassen, though, and not partial to any state. Have heard of Christopher Moore but never read him. A Confederacy of Dunces, Cold Comfort Farm and Kinflicks are also really funny books that I'd recommend.
Thanks--I loved Confederacy of Dunces. If you get the chance, try "Fool" by Christopher Moore. It's one of those books you never want to share because people will look at you funny. And it's going to be one of those "love it" or "hate it" books. I'm hoping you love it.
