I particularly enjoy audiobooks read by Briitsh actors who can affect a number of distinct accents and convey more about the characters. I don't know if this approach to voicework applies to most American fantasy and sci fi works. While audiobooks give the eyes a rest, I find I tend to multi-task a bit and lose the full impact of the storytelling experience. Too many characters and complex details or terms can be tricky to keep track of when you don't see words spelled on the page.
You can always put you account on Hiatus for 3 months. You keep whatever credits you have and your account stays open - but you just don't pay anything for 3 months. You can still go off hiatus or cancel the subscription any time during that period
I did that last time before canceling. I only signed back up to get the rest of the Riyria books.
