Marblehead: A Novel of H. P. Lovecraft by Richard A. Lupoff has a confusing publishing history. An edited-down, shorter version, appeared originally as Lovecraft's Book, A later reprint reinstated the missing text. Gateway, however, split the longer book into two volumes: Lovecraft's Book and Marblehead, respectively.
