Forever Peace is a thematic companion novel to Haldeman's famous novel Forever War. (Also see the Forever War series.)
Haldeman later added a prequel novelette, "Forever Bound", which was first published in the Warriors anthology and has also been reprinted in an issue of Clarkesworld.
