Long ago, magick filled Veralun but one sorceress delved deep into dark magick and tainted the inhabitants. In an effort to save all who lived there, a noble guardian locked the powers away and separated the infected land from the rest of the world. She called the new land Dramolux and for generations, her family kept the magick locked away.
