The series starts with Franck Sharko alone, a police inspector in Paris, France. Then Thilliez brings up Lucie Hennebelle, a detective in Lille (from his other series Lucie Hennebelle) to work with Franck Sharko starting at book 3 Syndrome E, the first Thilliez novel published in the United States.
