I was just wondering if anybody had a theory as to why kasteo stared at mac un-blinking for hours and had to be dragged out?

well then, I thought that he just couldn't believe someone, after zillions of years, could actually find a solution to their problem (while they didn't!)
and maybe he also couldn't believe a person outside their group could care so much about them.
They hid their secrets because of the violence they got from outsiders and she comes with love to give!

or maybe i'm just way too naive and it's because MEN can't believe a WOMAN actually found the solution they couldn't come up with!

Nice theory, Estelle! I liked that scene - showed the first sign of thaw with him, and it made me curious about the character.

It took Barrons 5 books to really believe he could have love!
I find it hard to believe the whole crew of machos, sexists, control-freaks men like them will all end up offering flowers to a lady in distress...
Or they all have to be like Mac and Dani maybe..!

I agree w/ the jealousy theory. He doesn't like the fact that someone else gets to keep their woman. But I think Kasteo would be a good match for Jo or Kat. Maybe a telepath?I think Ryo has dibs on Dani. After all he said time would remedy her age soon enough when he showed interest when they had Dani cornered in the other room.

Wow, I missed that. I didn't get to close to the crew I guess, I was too concentrated on Barrons, but I hope we'll find out more about them in Iced.
Can't wait for it ot come out!
