Have you seen the movie, and if so, do you think they did a good job?

It was okay.except it left out a few details. Other than that very good

Ya, it did leave out a few details, and it changed how Madge gave Katniss the pin, not how Katniss gave it to Prim to protect her and then Prim gave it back when they were saying goodbye

buttercup does not look like buttercup in the movie

i don't know. i thought that the movie was very anticlimactic and that the only good part was when katniss sang to rue; and even that wasn't like how it was in the book. i hope that if they make the sequel there is a different director.

Also, I mean it was good that they took the camera away from a lot of the killing, but i didn't really like the shaky way that they filmed it. It kindof annoyed me while watching it.

They're is a new director for catching fire. I agree with annie the shaky thing made it look cheap

yup, the shaking was annoying, I agree with Cassondra, that the movie was kinda anticlimactic, the book was amazing though, very suspenseful, it was the best book I ever read

Ya, they could have made the move better. Also, I personally just thought that some of the major parts in the book weren't shown as much in the movie

I couldn't tell where the climax was, not as suspenseful

there were so many small problems and climaxes in both the book and the movie but in the movie if i hadnt read the book then i probably wouldn't have known what was going on. Rememer those elderly people who were sitting nest to us and they kept asking eachother who katniss was and what was going on in the movie?

no i don't because i wasn't there with you but my whole family was interrupting me asking me what was happening and why were they talking about this or doing that. it's the whole/only reason i watched it twice.

ya. I mean if you have read he book you will understand the movie (probably) but if you haven't it can be kinda hard to follow

if you haven't read the book, probably won't understand the part in the movie when Katniss was shooting the arrow and misses the first time, but the second time she makes it, and when she shoots the arrow into the apple, also they won't understand what she is trying to do, when she is blowing up the careers food, and they might not get the unnecessary annoying beeping sound when her ear gets damaged, and the part were she was hallucinating from the tracker jacker stings, and they probably won't get a lot of other things to that I can't even think of.

Ya, all of those are great examples. Or like some people might not understand her flashbacks to when peeta was saving her.
