LOL SO DO I!
Sorry, I haven't been here lately. Not sure what the confusion is about. Many people blog about writer issues such as how to develop plot, or write dialog etc. I'm not trying to sell anything - I'm trying to share some of the knowledge I gained over the years. My blog is about the stuff you have to worry about "after" you finish your work. I cover things like how to get an agent, how to negotiate a contract those types of things.I'm not sure why the cries of spam...This is a group about writing under a posting about "advice" this blog is all about advice isn't this the type of thing you are trying to exchange information about - I guess I'm confused....
well, we see anything as spam if it seems to be advertising anything. what you posted seems to be advertising a website and your husband's book. if that's not what you intended, sorry.
The site is "tips" for writers I do use my husband's books as examples some times - for instance if I talk about design of bookmarks yes I show his bookmarsk but that is only because I need something to demonstrate the various points...for instance the bookmarks his publishers made are totally ineffective because they only have book covers on them but people don't have the "context" of the book. In any case my advice is free - and if you find it useful great - for instance yesterday I bloggged on the difference in doing email queries verses snail mail and how you should alter them. Today's blog is on "PublishAmeria" and the trap some authors fall into. If you don't find the information useful then by all means don't go there and feel free to remove this post if it is not in the spirit of the group.
Oh! well that makes sense! Sorry about the confusion.
We get a lot of spammers here in this group. Authors keep coming in and telling us to read/buy their book, and then leaving. We're just being cautious here. Sorry if it made you feel bad.
No apologize required - I'm just trying to help authors as much as I can - (being married to one and all). I lecture to a group of 340+ writers in the DC area and there is so much to know "on the business" side - i.e. beyond just writing your bok that many authors get overwelmed.
He-he-he. Yeah, overwhelmed a little. XDThanks for the help, though. I appreciate you taking the time to help young writers like us.
speaking of... if any mods happen to find him in this group, you are welcome to delete him without unblocking him. :)

I'm the "person behind the scenes" who got my husband published and learned a lot along the way I lecture on the "business side" of writing to 340+ writers in the DC area and finally started to blog some of stuff that I go over in my lectures. You might find it interesting. Some recent topics include:

- Intro to Direct Selling
- Demystifying the Amazon Sales Rank
