Yup that was the one and how that ties into the research of cloning organisms and so on. I was a little flustered when I wrote the initial post...
Yes that's good moderating. I went back and edited it myself. I'm quite interested on hearing what the ethical viewpoint as to stem cell research is because while I don't approve taking stem cells from aborted foetuses (I believe that in the past there may have been some doctors who used abortion for that purpose solely which is ethically wrong and there are too many grey areas in that). I am somewhat in favour of approaches like storing umbilical cord tissue and so on because there are many ways which stem cells can be obtained. I would never be in favour of creating a black market where grown organs could be sold or in cloning people (even were it an aborted clone as I think ethically and morally it is wrong to create life only to destroy it) in order to obtain those parts.



A particular focus on stem cell research and cloning as this is this ties into medical ethics.
