Has anyone been watching Bunheads? I had never heard of it except for skipping right over it in the On Demand listings; I thought for some reason it was Yet Another Reality Show about gymnastics or dance or something. Then my sister called and ordered me to watch it. It's from the same producer and writer as The Gilmore Girls, and it's just as wonderful as that show was at its best: Michelle, a Vegas showgirl, has to adapt when in a weak and drunken moment she marries the man who has been carrying a torch for her, and goes home with him to a tiny town called Paradise - and then he is killed, leaving her stranded with his mother, who runs a ballet school.

The writing is fast and funny and heartbreaking, and the acting is fantastic. One major draw is the dance - and the guest appearances from Kent Boyd of SYTYCD. And that last episode had me in tears with an absolutely wonderful Dead Poets Society tribute.

I was wondering about that show! I'll definitely check it out, especially if the dancing is good. Thanks for the recommendation, Tracey.
