I adore leeks.

Yay! I love, love, love leeks. I just don't love cleaning all the grit out of them.

I kind of enjoy cleaning the grit.

I've never had a leek.

Leeks - woo hoo, great for soup!

Leeks are the greatest vegetable ever. Just remember to saute them before adding them to a lasagne. Learned that one the hard way.

Yes we have them down under. I love potato and leek soup.

They look like large shallots. I like those. We eat them in salad and tuna pasta.

Pauline (in England) used to make a lovely leek soup. Mmmmm. I miss Trevor and Pauline. :(
