Q&A with Anne M. Carpenter discussion

Would anyone like an eARC for "The Mommy Letters," the novel I am releasing in September? I'll have them available by Labor Day weekend (as PDFs) and would love to gather some early reviews prior to the go-live date a week or so later. (It's a moving target; I may have arm surgery at the end of the month, so I can't commit to a specific live date quite yet.)

Disclaimer: this is *not* a request for "good" reviews but for honest reviews. Also, if a review is posted to Amazon, you have to indicate if you've received that book as a free copy as a reviewer.

To be honest, Anne, I'd rather buy the book and review it without having to state any disclaimers. Otherwise, my review may not hold. Just let me know when it's available in Kindle format.

I love a Copy for my Nook, Though at the moment if you do not mind at the moment for me to read it I am trying to get to my nook real soon here to catch those books on there and I love to review it and place it on my Blog, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble and LibraryThing,Shelari

I just got my last round of edits back, and so I'll be feverishly working through them...TML will likely be ready the first week of September, but to protect my sometimes over-eager self and sanity, I'm going to promise no later than the 15th! I'll shoot out electronic and print copies to all ya'll who want them as soon as they're ready!

Yep - I was afraid I was potentially facing a bloodbath from my editors, and was pleasantly surprised. *Whew!* In fact, my police officer husband probably contributed the most necessary changes to my MS, to get the police-related details right. I'm lucky to have him to fix my mistakes! And I'm lucky to have a fabulous critique group, including a professional editor.

Great to hear! Congrats on the "good" edit.

I just re-read what I wrote and want to correct something, because I think I implied that my husband was more helpful than my group and really, they're all lifesavers for me. My editors gave me GREAT things that I need to work on/fix - a few character and plot holes - but my husband was the pickiest of the bunch. Funny! :-)
