Lanie walked into Red Robin, inhaling the scent of burgers and fries. "How may I help you?" The lady at the front desk asked while tying a balloon for a toddler throwing a tantrum a few feet away. "We need a table for five." Lanie stated, assuming Cali and Logan would show up, but Jared was not. He obviously wasn't interested in them. "Right this way," The waitress smiled and grabbed some menus while Lanie and Christie stood up and grabbed their purses. They followed the lady to the table.

Lanie announced, "I must've read your mind! They are on the way."

Lanie pulled out her phone and texted Cali under the table. "So... how did it go?" she typed in.

"What did he say? Waht did you say?" Lanie typed feverishly.

"KK" Lanie replied. She tucked her phone away. "Lemonade," Lanie announced, "raspberry."

"I think that's it, thanks." Kade replied. Logan kept his head down.

((when will you tell me? will you tell me "that one part"? Tell Lindsay, but not Lanie? hahaha))

"I'll be right back" Lanie announced, "I need to use the restroom." she glanced at Cali, trying to catch her eye. She wanted to hear the story.

She met kades eye. Christie + Logan alone = BAD. Kade seemed to understand. He was so considerate. Story time!

"What happened?" Lanie went on

"Yeah I know," Lanie started. She felt a lump in her throat. "I really like Kade, and I... when Logan dared Kade to kiss me I just wanted to know what he wanted to do. I don't even know-" Christie walked in. Lanie put a smile on her face. "Hey, is the food here yet?"

"I'll wait for Christie." Lanie nodded at Cali.

Logan didn't smile. He was REALLY upset, obviously. Lanie dug into her burger. Once they were all finished, they paied and got ready to leave. Lanie texted Cali, "Hey- wanna come over tonight? You can tell me about what happened. Maybe spend the night?"

"So, I am exhausted." Lanie yawned."I will see y'all later." They parted ways, and Lanie headed to the soccer field. She was meeting Cali there, and Lanie's mom was picking her up.
