Fun Reads & RolePlay! :D discussion

Hi I'm Caitlin I love to read,sing and play my Clarinet. : )

Hello, I'm horror author Mark McLaughlin. Even though my books are horror, I also think they're fun reads. If a book isn't fun, what's the point of reading it? :-) Here are a couple of my works (I've written many more over the years):

... Beach Blanket Zombie: Weird Tales of the Undead and Other Humanoid Horrors .... 33 tales of weird horror featuring the living dead and other bizarre humanoid horrors.

... Monster Behind The Wheel ... a rollicking novel of supernatural horror, which was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award, Best First Novel.

I'm also a voracious reader. My favorite authors are Robert Aickman, H.P. Lovecraft, Basil Copper, August Derleth, and Bram Stoker, among hundreds of others. When I'm not writing, I'm at work -- I'm the head of PR at an ad agency. So, I keep pretty busy!

Hello. I'm Cindy. I like to read mainly fiction, but really anything that gets my interest. I also like manga, manhwa, anime and a lot of other stuff.

how did you get published?

I've written about 30 books for different publishers over the years, and basically, to get published, you do this:

1.) Write something.
2.) Find a publisher that publishes stuff along the lines of what you've written.
3.) Contact the publisher and let them know what you've written.

The logistics get a little more complicated, but really, it all boils down to that! :-)

It sounds easy, but is most likely very complicated.
When did you decide, if that is the appropriate word, to become an author?

Hi I'm Samantha but you can call me Sam if you want. I love to read, and work on 3-D art. I am the secretary of the national art honor society at my high school and I also teach preschoolers :)
