Michael (knowledgelost) Let's talked Mafia and other organised crime novels. What's good out there and what do you look for in a novel like this.

Toby (tfitoby) Organised crime? Heist novels would count right? Or do you just mean gangland stuff?

Don Winslow gets my vote, his criminals are very organised. From Chon and O and Ben in Savages to Frankie Machine in The Winter of Frankie Machine he knows his stuff and excites throughout.

Toby (tfitoby) Clean Break was a Kubrick movie about a heist.
