I'm just really interested to read other people thoughts on this book! Personally I thought it was a good read, but at some points Jeffs sarcastic denial annoyed me. Although I did think he as a character as a whole was wonderful, so funny. What did you think of the other characters aswell? And the conclusion to the book?
Oh I loved it. I picked it up looking for a depressing read and was pleasantly surprised.
I couldn't really finish reading the book because I know that it's supposed to be funny, but it feels like a really bad remake of "It's Kind of a Funny Story" by Ned Vizzini. The thing is, I really liked the idea of the book but the execution was pretty bad, in my opinion.
I enjoyed the book very much, one of my close friends is even reading it at the moment. It was amazing how it all came together amazingly in the end, I had no idea he was gay... that was a big surprise but it all fit together and im glad that he found a way to come out and be open with himself.
