Personality: He's a tough old man, head of the Romanov House (says the quiz if you don't mind) who is intelligent and strict. A wizened teacher with plenty of life experience and stories with low tolerance for insolence.
History: He attended Durmstrang and was a top Romanov student who was captain of the Quidditch team and was one of the most successful Keepers ever. He was entered in the Triwizard Tournament and won on his last year in school. After working as a high up wizarding police officer, he turned his attention back to his favorite topic at school and became a professor. He's feared and respected. Totally no nonsense.

A wizened, observant and mostly wild wolf called Vigil. Sometimes he pops up to help students or to bust them even so watch out.
