Aside from the 6 main novels she wrote, what are her others like? I have yet to read the others :)

Nicole(thereadingrebel) (thereadingrebel) | 158 comments I liked them both but they have nothing on her novels.I did enjoy reading Lady Susan which is a finished work the most.Lady Susan is one of the most evil Austen characters IMO.It's written in letter form.Love and Freindship was cute and showed some of her work written when she was young. The little there is of The Watsons will make you the most disappointed she didn't finish it.Sanditon is very differerent form anything Austen ever wrote and it would have been intersecting to see where she took that.

Irene | 271 comments I agree with Nicole!
I read some other minor works by Jane Austen. Jack and Alice is quite funny and in Italy has been published with very nice drawings (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...)
I also read Sir Charles Grandison, that's a written in the form of a play script. It's interesting, but it's not my favourite among her minor works (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20...).

Thanks!! That's the thing about the unfinished ones, if I read them I will want them to be finished, and they're not!

Irene | 271 comments If you want to read an ended version of The Watsons, you can read "Emma Watson" by Joan Aiken.
Honestly, it's not so good as I expected to be, but I suppose that dealing with an unfinished novel, in which characters are not completely developed, is not an easy task.

This one is hilarious. Very tongue-in-cheek Austen humor :)

Sarah Louise Smith (sarahlouisesmith) I have that one - very good :) In the Mansfield Park adaptation '99, Fanny Price writes this!

That's one thing I am looking forward to. The fact that even though I have read her 6 main novels, there is still some to come! Although I wish Sandition were finished...

Laura | 18 comments I still haven't read her unfinished works. It's too depressing to think of, but I'm sure I will get there one of these days!

I have Lady Susan on my Kindle and plan to read it as soon as I read all of her main works like Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Northanger Abbey, etc.
