Jason walked into his common room with plenty of work which he simply plopped down onto a table and ignored as he saw his lizard, Alexei, under an armchair. "Come out here boy." He called to him as the lizard slipped into his cupped hands.
Abby walked in & dropped down in a chair staring at all the unfinished work she had to do.
"Oh hey there Abby." He greeted her with his heavy accent as he stroked his lizard. ((Can we just know each other already cause it's simpler and funner?))
((yeah))
"Hi Jason." she said tiredly
"Hi Jason." she said tiredly
"What do you have here?" He leaned over her stack of books, Alexei slipping from his fingers onto the table.
"Lots of homework & no energy to do it all." Abby said
"Well I've got loads of homework and all the enegry not to do then at all. Oh, watch out for Alexei. He's grumpy today." He pointed at the green lizard who stuck out his tongue quickly and scampered nearby Abby's books.
"Aww, why is he in a bad mood?"
"Didn't get his usual to eat this morning. Forgot it on my way out to early Quidditch training." Jason shrugged tiredly "On the plus side, he was getting fat anyway."
Abby started laughing "Jason! You're going to kill him for quiditch one day!"
Jason noticed the new entrant. "At least we're getting better. Lennisk will win this year." ((Can we have house logos and house colours?))((do you want us to know Carina beforehand or be strangers?))
Abby turned around also & saw the new person
Jason sighed "No one seems to having a good one with all this snow and frost." He peered out the window to see the frozen glass and white landscape.
((Are we role playing as strangers or not?))
Abby groaned. "I have refraind from looking outside the window so thanks for the weather update Jason." she said
"Better idea. We don't need to get overly depressed now do we? It's going to get much worst as Christmas draws close." He snickered, teasing Abby.
Carina chuckled and glanced out the window. She shivered and shut her eyes. She pulled her sweater down over her hands and buried her chin in the neck. Her long hair was fanned out all around her.
"Then lets never have christmas! My toes will freeze again. And my face. And fingers. And every part inch of me!"
"You need to toughen up chaser. You're the one who has to be flying up there, passing that quaffle around with your frostbitten fingers." He joked.
"I know. And afterwards I want to rip my fingers off because they hurt so much."
Carina snickered. She knew Jason was right. Quidditch players had to be tough and right now Abby was demonstrating the opposite. But Carina didn't say anything, just sat there thinking.
"I'm sure the cold will make them fall off painlessly anyway so no need to rip them off your hands." He laughed.
"Heey!" Abby siad indignantly.
"Just joking girls. Does the cold suck away your fun side too or something? Alexei!" He stood up, watching in horror as the lizard scampered off the table and into the girl's dormitory.
Abby laughed. "Want me to go get him, or do you want to?" she asked jokingly
"I'm sure he'll like the view." Jason said dryily, seeing the last flicker of Alexei's green tail. "Where's Hedwig anyway Carina?"
"I'm not sure. Actually. Probably getting into trouble would be my guess." she shrugged and out two fingers in her mouth. She blew hard. "Just wait a sec."
"You guys are so lucky you get animals." Abby said wistfully
"Why dont you have one?" asked Carine. Hedwig came flapping in and she landed on Carina's arm like a perch.
"My mom didn't want me to have one."
"Well we can share responsibility of Alexei if you want. I never feed the poor guy as I always want to be on the quidditch pitch an hour before early morning practice." Jason sighed, looking over his work.
Abby made a face. "I don't think you will be able to do anything with him if he keeps going into our dorm anyways!"
Carina shot him a disgusted look before running up the stairs. She came back a while later with her sweater torn and her hair wild. She held the lizard in her arms. "Here's your stupid lizard. Get him lessons on behavior." she moaned and collapsed in the couch again.
Abby looked at him. "We all are. Aren't you?"
Carina ran upstairs to change. She came back looking perfect again and she leaned on the window staring outside.
Abby glanced at her homework again and started glaring at t
Jason raised his hands at Carina's snap and leaned back on the chair lazily, clutching onto Alexei. "Excuse me and my animal then." He scoffed.
