Rachael C. (norcalbibliophile) So am I the only one with the jingles running through my head as I'm typing my list? I sign all these songs to my son trying to distract him into letting me change his diaper without too much of a struggle.

"Hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog, now we got ears it's time for cheers"
"Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Climb aboard me hearties, and be a pirate true"
"We're done with our mission, Octonauts - at ease - until the next adventure!"
"The Doc is in, and she'll fix you up, If you're a toy, than you're in luck, it's okay, don't be afraid the Doc really knows her stuff!"
"We're going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship, zooming through the sky, Little Einsteins!"
"Chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga Chuggington"
"Meet Special Agent Oso, the unique stuffed bear, he's on a Special Assignment, to help a kid somewhere!"

Oh wow. I need a life.

Finished 7/7 on 09/25/12

1. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse- Read a classic; or a book where a character uses tools (oh toodles); or a book that has a character that is just plain goofy.
The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts - 09/17/12 - 3 stars
Male MC is a builder - lots of tools mentioned.

2. Jake and the Neverland Pirates- Read a book with pirates, takes place on a boat (at least part of the time), or has a character that can fly.
Artifacts by Mary Anna Evans - 09/21/12 - 3 stars
The main character lives on an island in Florida and does most of her commuting by boat.

74 Seaside Avenue by Debbie Macomber - 3 stars
Cedar Cove, WA - on the water.

4. Doc McStuffins- Read a book with a doctor as an influential character; a book that is stuffed with 400+ pages; or has a dragon.
Cruel and Unusual by Patricia Cornwell - 09/02/12 - 3 stars
Dr. Kay Scarpetta - Chief Medical Examiner of the state of Virginia.

5. Little Einsteins- Read a book where music or art is a major plot point; or has a rocket.

Seattle's jazz scene is the backdrop for most of this book.

Eddie Pomerantz, who to my disappointment no one called Eddie Pomeranian.

7. Special Agent Oso - Read a book where a character is a special agent or goes undercover; is part of a trilogy (also known as 3 special steps); or has an author or character whose name starts and ends with the same letter (think: Anna, Trent, Phillip, Hugh, Nathan, Elle, Hannah).
