Should we be thinking seasonal books Heather? Like a scarey book or something? Or just anything that twirls our beanie? I LOVE the new banner by the way! Beautiful!
Thank you
And I didn't have a theme planned, but we could add one. I'm thinking anything that can be linked to Holloween would work. Such as a horror, or something with ghost or other forms of monsters/supernatural being.

All books must fall under this theme in some way or another. It does not have to be stricty Holloween books, but any book from any genre that has an element of holloween in it.
Examples:
♦ Horror
♦ Ghosts, vampires, demons, angels, warlocks, monsters
♦ Set in autumn

Okay, just to make sure my blonde head is screwed on right...are we doing two selections then? One scarey and one normal? Wait...scary not with an e. Bad speller. Bad! So one scary selection and one normal selection for October for each of us? Or just one selection? I gonna go put on my thinking cap!
No, everyone just nominates one book. It can be any kind of book as long as something in it fits the months theme.
I found it in the teacher's lounge at school (we have a bookshelf we borrow from). Anyway, I brought it home!
Amy B wrote: "Sue...I recently looked at that one. That would be a good pick too!"I've had it on my TBR list for awhile
I bought that book when it first came out and I haven't picked it up. I would love to be *forced* to read it! (Talking about The Witch's Daughter.)
Hey Heather,Is it all right if I make a poll which just four books or do you want more? If you don't respond to this by sometime tomorrow, I'll make the poll. Hope that is okay.

Okay, poll is up.
Oh I've had The Witch's Daughter on my TBR list for a while too, so would love that one...but the others look good too. I'll have to see which ones are available through my library and then vote :)(*waving* Hi Kelly! Nice to see you here!)

Yes that's okay for now, I do like to look over the polls and give everyone one more chance to nominate something before I post it though.

Sorry, I wanted to make sure the poll was up with enough time for people to vote before you know it, the month will be over and October will be here.

No I know. I guess I'm just picky with things, but I have been really busy and not on a lot.

Here is where you can nominate the book that you'd like to see the group read in October. You may nominate a book from any genre you wish as long as it fits the theme. If the list get to be too long we will randomly select the books that the group will be voting on. Once all the nominations are in and the list is composed we will post a poll for all members of the group interested in participating to vote on.
We will take nominations up until September 15th, 2012.
Theme:
Holloween
Rule:
♦ Each member may nominate one book, unless otherwise stated
♦ You can not nominate a book that the group has already read
♦ The book must be a stand-alone or the first in a series
♦ And it must fit the theme selected for that month
Poll:
To be posted later...
