We Love Lisa Kleypas discussion

Ok, so I've been gone for awhile, been on hiatus and I'm always late to these things, but 2 things:

1)I've missed my ladies here - which is the most important thing in the world, and

2) GOOD GOD I just finished watching North and South and I don't believe I've seen anything so romantic in my life! And Richard Armitage.....I think I shall swoon, he's so yummy!

I need more of that! How could they have ended at 4 episodes????

Really really upset....but good grief that was good!! I cried like a baby, he's phenomenal!

I will now retreat into Netflix and watch North and South... because really how could I not?

I haven't watched it, but I finished reading it a few weeks ago.

I have it on my Netflix list, seems I need to move it up. :)

The North and South miniseries is one of the best period dramas I've ever scene (50% of that is due to Richard Armitage - he is very swoonworthy!)

OMG, my hubby just got Netflix....I will have to figure out how to use it and watch...I've not seen it.
I have seen Pride & Prejudice as well as Sense & Sensibility...both were wonderful!

Hi Heidi and Ariana!!! Thanks for the welcome! Anyone who has it in their queue must move it to the top. I had it in there forever and yesterday I was finally like...let me just watch it..and it blew me away. Richard Armitage is VERY swoonworthy and that movie is one of the most romantic movies I've seen in my life. The chemistry between Thornton and Margaret is award winning.

That end scene is unbelievable, the way she acts with him, and the way he looks at her....i could watch it over and over.

Okay, you ladies are killing me. I guess I'm going to have to track it down. LOL!

If it's that good is it out on DVD?

OMG...I LOVE North and South! Give me Mr. Thornton over Darcy any day!

I want to see Richard Armitage in roles only like that over and over and over again. I love it when things like that happen just perfectly. I really believe no one could have played that role better.

LOVED North and South. I think it totally had the emotional impact of Pride and Prejudice and I found the historical culture differences very interesting.

I used to have the whole mini-series on video tape and , boy am I dating myself there...*grin*...I ended up giving it to my sister when I got married.

I'm pretty excited about Richard Armitage playing the exiled dwarf king, Thorin Oakenshield, in The Hobbit. :)

Agreed! Okay, honestly I haven't been this excited for a movie for awhile...it's gonna suck waiting a year for part 2 and then another 6 months for part 3.
