Braxton was standing the watch tower today,though nothing was really happening.All he could see was castle workers walking in and out of the castle
Lucy walked the castle halls going down to the kitchen she liked getting up early before the whole castle was bissy and to make her own breakfast instead of a random maid making it for her. So she walked into the kitchen and turned on the stove and put a pan on it. then she pulled out the egg carton and pulled out two eggs then she cracked them onto the pan and waited till they hardened a little Then she fliped them over gently and waited. AFter she was finished cooking her dippy eggs she made herself toast and then she got a plate and put her food on it. Then she went and walked out side with her plate of food to the castle Garden. She loved seeing the sun set over the whole Village.
Caleena was walking through the market buying some things for herself. She was doing some simple pick pocketing as she want from shop to shop. While doing this she overheard some women going on and on about some ball that was to be at the castle. Caleena grinned slightly, she had always been thinking off robbing the castle but she never had a in, now she did. She pushed past people before walking into one of the finer dress shops, she'd need something nice if she was to sneak into the ball.Donovan was up early like he was everyday, it was still slightly dark out as he dressed himself seeing no reason to have someone dress him. Once he was dressed and had his fencing foil attached to his belt he walked out of his room and down the empty halls of the castle. He walked past some knights who didn't seem too thrilled to see the prince leaving the castle without any protection but he just smiled at them and walked outside. He headed around the castle till he reached the stables where he saddled up his horse, Zendara, and hopped on.

Braxton smiled brightly as he waved back to Arabella"Be careful!!!!!"He yelled down at her before going back to watching the castle grounds again.He watched his sister ride off towards to the town,not worried about sending her a guard.He knew she could handle herself.
Lucy Finished her breakfast and went inside and put her dish in the sink and walked back up to her room she was still in her pjays which was a short cute dress. She walked down the hallway like a princess should with grace to her room she blushed as The knights in the kingdom stared, winked, and whistled at her in the halls. It was very rude and disrespectful of them but she didn't tell cause some of them were cute and they were also keeping this kingdom safe. So, she walked up the stairs to her room which was at the end of the hall on the top floor. She got to the top of the steps and walked through the doors and down the hall and up another two flights of stairs till she got to the top and went through the doors and down to the end of the hall where her room is and she went back to bed the maids would come in soon or someone would come wake her up to fulfill her royal duties as a princess.

She loved wearing dresses no matter what every princess says about hating there life but she didn't look at it like that no she looked at her life with joy she couldn't wait for her engagement and to get a new dress. And she loved her people and was nice to everyone no matter how mean they were to her. She was just a perfect example of a fairy tale princess. And she loved every second of it.
Caleena looked at the fine fabrics and ran her hands over them, she never would have been able to afford such a nice dress but she'd been saving up from her jobs for a special occasion like this. She chewed on her bottom lip as she looked for a dress that wouldn't cause her to stand out, she wanted to be able to slip away easily. Donovan started out at a simple trot before braking into a fast gallop. He grinned as the wind whizzed past him, he loved that feeling. He pushed Zendara to go as fast as she could till they reached the edge of the forest and he turned. He sped back towards the castle, smiling brightly.

Braxton kept watch for a while before walking down the long way down the stairs to the bottom of the watch tower.He walked the castle halls,not knowing what to do since there was nothing to watch.
Caleen wasn't fond of any of the dresses, yes they were all stunning but they were all so puffy and made her work difficult. She sighed softly before choosing a blue dress (view spoiler) she paid the salesman using the last of her savings. She walked out of the shop with the dress and walked home.
Donovan soon returned to the stables with a cool sweat across his brow. He smiled as he hopped of Zendara and gave her some water and and apple. After cleaning Zendara he walked back into the castle.

Braxton walked around the castle quietly before the head knight told him he was excused from work today.He nodded before walking out of the castle and hopping on his horse.He was completely unaware of the engagement between him and Arabella.
Caleen sighed as she walked into her small hut which still lay on her families old farm. She placed the dress on her bed before looking at it "the rich have it so easy" she murmured before turning on her heel and walking back outside. She was hit by a gust of wind and let it cool her down before she headed down the rode.Donovan walked into the kitchen where the chefs were already making breakfast. He grinned as he snatched a roll and hopped into the counter. When he reached for another roll his hand was slapped away "Mary!" he said with a fake hurt expression before laughing, he was very close with all the servants.
Dylan was at the bakery like he was every day, he was wearing an apron while he started cutting a loaf of bread. His younger brother was next to him as well and was serving the costumers since he was much nicer and got along better with the customers.
After Lucy was finished with getting dressed she walked down all the stairs and went to go out through the kitchen seeing her brother Donovan there and said, "Good Morning." With a smile and walked out the back door and went to the stables. She walked down to the third stall where her trusty steed Lucifer was. She got him ready to ride then mounted him and rode off down to the Village Bakery she really wanted some Bread and rolls for lunch and the bread was always fresh in the morning so this was the best time to get them. She stoped Lucifer in front of the bakery and dismounted him and tied him to the post out side she walked in Smiling, and up to the counter. She said in the most polite and sweetest voice, "excuse me? May i have a loaf of bread and 5rolls?"
Dylan's brother smiled politely and nodded "Dyl, a loaf of br-" he started but was interrupted by Dylan. "I heard" Dylan said not looking up from the loaf of bread he was cutting. He finally set down the knife and wiped his hands on his apron and walked to the back. He wrapped up a loaf of bread and the five rolls in some wrapping paper before bringing them out to Lucy and handing the package to her.

Braxton's horse sped up to a gallop and he soon was riding off into the village.
Her hair blew around her and her simple peasants dress swirled around her feet as she walked. She smiled sweetly at the people she passed but never stopped to speak to them, she wasn't in the mood to play nice at the moment.Donovan talked to his servants for a while before heading back out of the castle and taking the family carriage into town.

Braxton rode into town,soon at his house.He hopped off his horse and tied him to a hook he had on the side of the house.He soon began to walk the village paths silently,just thinking as he walked.
Caleena ran a hand through her hair as she eyed the shops she passed, she knew all the owners and who she would and wouldn't steal from. Though she was a thief and an assassin on occasion she still had some morals. She always made sure never to steal a lot, she didn't want to cause anyone to loose much money and she never stole from those who needed the money just as much as she did. The carriage stopped right outside of town and Donovan climbed out with a soft smile. He told the driver he could go do as he pleased and that he would find his own way home. He walked into town as the carriage rode off.

Braxton walked the village,stopping at a few shops to get some things to make food at home.He knew his mother wouldnt make anything for him so he was on his own.He decided to make a simple dish,something that wouldnt take too long.
Caleena walked over to a fruit vendor where she grabbed and apple and started munching on it "you better pay for that missy" she heard from behind her causing her to smile. She turned to face the old man that owned the shop "well now I don't know, whose gonna make me?" she asked with a grin as she took another bite out of the apple. "I will" said the man before cracking a smile and giving off a hearty laugh. Caleena smiled "I'll pay you tomorrow George" she told him. George was one of the only people in town who didn't get on her nerves in some way.Donovan didn't even try hiding who he was as he walked through town. He smiled at the people he passed and stopped to have a conversation with a few people before playing a game of hide and seek through town with some children.

Braxton soon had the things he needed but a few vegetables.He walked to the stands and he picked out a few things before paying the vendor.
((Donovan and Arabella are in two different towns, right? or the same one?))George nodded "found yourself a suitor yet my dear?" he asked her as he sat down on an old rickety stool. Caleena rolled her eyes "no, I probably never will, which is fine with me" she said leaning against the wall. "You need a man, someone to support you. It's a miracle you have been able to survive so long now that you're alone" he said, he was the only one who could say it so bluntly without Caleena getting angry. "You tell me this every time I come here, perhaps you should just find me a decent husband so we can move past these pointless discussions."

Vern laughed"Oh come on.soon you'll be my wife,and things will be much worse.why not get used to it now?"He said with a smirk
"Because your a rechid slob who only cares about money and women.and i refuse to let you touch me,i actually respect myself unlike the women you run around with"She said
Braxton raised an eyebrow as he listened but he reminded himself it was rude so he began to walk off.He always had good manors even if it wasnt necessary,though he felt it was.
((Okay))Donovan was laughing as he chased some kids through the streets of the town. He had a bright smile spread across his lips as he ran after them.
"Perhaps if you didn't despise knights so much, I could get you a husband" the old man said. Caleena scowled at the mention of knights "My opinion of them will never change" she said as she started walking away. "They were only doing their duty!" George called after her but she ignored his comment and continued walking.

Arabella cringed as she tried pulled away but vern pulled her back"Oh no.your not going anywhere.your my betrothed and now your going to suffer the consequences"He said
Braxton walked away,heading to the hut of a house he lived in.He could have lived in the castle but he chose not to,thinking it would cause suspicious he also wondered about what the man said to the lady. how can she despise a knight? he thought
Donovan hadn't realized how far he had run till he paused to catch his breath. He frowned and looked around, he didn't recognize this part of town. He sighed softly and decided to look for the kids and get them back to their parents.Caleena crossed her arms over her chest and sighed as the words George said rang through her head they were only doing their duty the words caused her to scowl again. "My father was doing his duty by making sure he could feed his family" she muttered to herself.

Braxton walked into his house and he set the things down before making a small,simple dish.He knew cooking wasnt the manliest thing to do,but hey,who else would have done it.
"Kayla!" Donovan called, his hands cupping his mouth so his voice was even louder than it already was. He sighed softly at the lack of response and dropped his hands back down to his sides as he walked down random streets in search of the little girl.Caleena eventually made it back to her hut near the edge of town. Rather than going inside she climbed up the side so that she was now standing on the roof. With perfect balance she walked across the top till she was in the center and she sat down, her eyes moving up to the sky.

Arabella growled"let me down Vern!you have no control over me.if I had a bow and arrow I would kill you"she said
"and how would that make you look?the princess killing her betrothed?"he smirked
Braxton cooked
Donovan turned a corner and arched an eyebrow at the site of a a very unhappy looking girl being thrown over a man's shoulder. He let out a sigh before making his way over "excuse me sir, but I do believe she'd like you to put her down" he said, not recognizing Arabella as the princess. The last time he'd even seen the royal family from Crysanthanine was when he was a mere seven years of age. Caleene sighed softly as she looked out of the town, her eyes scanning the busy streets full of women and children.

Arabella growled"Vern put me down before i get a bow and arrow and i shoot you in the head."She said
Vern shook his head"Not happening princess."He said
Braxton grabbed a bowl of food and he sat down at his small,round dining table.He ate in silence,the usual sounds of his drunken mother in the background.
"Bethrothed or not you shouldn't treat a lady that wa-" he stopped when Vern's words sunk in princess? no, she can't be. She looks so different he thought as he flashed back to the little girl he had met when they were both children. He quickly regained his composure and cleared his throat "if she truly is the princess then I'd recommend putting her down, she can call the knights on you immediately" he said deciding it best not to say he was the prince of Ardor yet. Caleen fell into a daze and her fingers immediately went to the locket that sat at the nape of her neck (view spoiler) the familiar tick of the gears moving making her relax slightly.

Arabella smirked when someone passed by with a bow an arrow.she quickly snatched it and pointed it at verns head"now let me down Vern."she said
He sighed as he set her down and she smiled before giving back the now and arrows"thank you very much"she said before turning to Vern"and just because your the head knight does not mean that my father won't have you beheaded in 2 seconds if he found out "she said
Braxton finished his supper quickly and he got up and he exited his hut
"Well it appears you have this handled, I'll take my leave now" he said as his eyes scanned the streets for the little girl so that he could get her and they could both leave. Caleena eventually shook herself out of her daze and hopped down the short distance from her roof to the ground.

Braxton walked down the street quietly,and then he saw the girl that the vendor was talking to.he raised an eyebrow before shaking his head and walking forward.
"Any time, princess" Donovan said with a polite smile and let out a soft sigh of relief when he saw the familiar blond curls and blue eyes of a girl who looked to be around seven. Donovan walked over to the girl who was peaking her head out at them from behind a building, he lifted her up in his arms "ready to go home?" he asked her with a bright smile.Caleena bent down and retied her worn, leather boots that fit her perfectly.

Braxton walked as he looked down at the ground,deep in thought
Donovan watched her go and sighed softly before walking towards his own home which was quite fare away. He had lots of time to think about all that had happened her betrothed? I wonder if we'll be invited to the celebrations he thought.When Caleena stood she didn't look to see if anyone was there and took a step forwards, bumping into Braxton.

Braxton felt someone bump into him and he turned"terribly sorry.my fault"he said politely
Donovan dropped the little girl off before walking back to the palace. He sighed softly as he walked inside, he headed into the throne room to speak with his father. "Father? have you heard the news? the princess of Crysanthanine is betrothed" he said. "Oh no, it was my fault" she said as she regained her balance and glanced up at him.

Braxton shook his head"untrue.it was my fault miss."he said again
Vern walked into a pub like he always did,ordering a drink
His mother gave him a warning look and he arched his eyebrow slightly before looking over at his outraged father. "Yes, we were invited to the celebration" his father's voice said loudly. "He is just trying to anger me, we had arranged for you and princess to be married when she was born. Now that we are fighting that arrangement is no longer existent" his father said. Donovan nodded slightly "are we going to the celebration?" he asked cautiously, hoping not to making his father any angrier. "Of course! we must show them that we don't need to have you marry her" his father announced. Caleena sighed softly "well it's fine" she said not in the mood to have a pointless debate over who's fault it was.

Vern was given a drink but what he didn't know is that the tender slipped some kind of poison into it.vern had been going to the pub everyday for weeks without paying and he was tired of it.
Braxton nodded before turning around and walking forward again.
Donovan nodded, knowing better than to argue with the king. He excused himself and left the throne room before letting out a soft sigh. "I was suppose to marry her?" he asked softly, this was the first time he ever even heard of this.Caleen eyed him carefully, she didn't know he was a knight yet. She simply shrugged lightly and started walking in the same direction as him, in search of her mark for the night.

Braxton walked forward,before thinking about going to the castle to take someones shift.He turned around and went back to get his horse before going to the castle
Donovan walked silently through the castle till he reached his room. He pushed open the thick wooden door and stepped inside before laying down on his bed. Caleena's eyes scanned the shops she passed till they locked on a weapons store. She smiled softly as a dagger caught her eye.

Vern downed the drink,unaware of what was in the drink.He got up with a smirk before walking out and heading back to the castle
Braxton hopped on his horse and he grabbed the reins before the horse galloped out of the village and began the trip to the castle.
Donovan stared up at the ceiling as he crossed his arms behind his head. One of his closest friends walked into his room and sat next to him "I want to go do something" his friend said simply. Donovan glanced at him "like what?" he asked as he sat up. His friend shrugged lightly "go to the Crysanthanine Kingdom, nobody knows who you are over there so we'll be treated as if we are regular peasants."Caleena glanced at the sky and smiled when she saw it getting darker, when it was pitch black out she would make her move.

Vern soon felt dizzy but he shrugged it off as he rode to the castle
Braxton soon got to the castle and he put his horse in the stable before he walked inside
