Wanda smiled, "Wow this is cool!" the place was crowded with people. Well more specially crowded with souls... But nobody would notice three humans among this crowd.
Kingston looked around. "Come on guys. Lets have some fun!" He wanted to dance to the music buit didn't want to look weird.
Wanda took their hands and pulled them out to the dance floor. If there was one thing she used to be good at, it was partying. She loved to dance with the music and feel it inside of her.
Kingston joined with her. He was really getting into the music mainly because he hasn't heard very much in a while
Wanda threw her hand over her head and danced. Laughing sometimes because she was enjoying herself so much.
After a while, Kingston started to get bored. He started dancing without the energy he had when he first walked in.
Wanda relized Kingston's boredom and danced over to him. She smiled sort of mischievously at him and danced close.
Wanda wrapped her arms around his neck loosely. "This is fun!" she told him. Trying to speak to him over the music.
At that moment Wanda was tempted to kiss him. Kiss him in front of all the people in their presence. But then she shyed away. Thinking that he may not want that.
"I think I could have done better at that kiss... maybe we should try that again?" Wanda said, titling her head up again, so their lips were 2 inches apart.
Wanda smiled and then went up on her toes until their lips touched. She held herself up by holding around his neck and kissed him deeply on the lips, titling her head to the side.
Kingston kissed her back with the same amount of passion but in a different way. He put his arms around her waist.
Wanda felt light as a feather in his embrace. With his arms around her waist and she smiled against his lips.
Even after they stopped the kiss their arms were still around each other. So Wanda got off her toes and leaned her head against his chest as they sort of slow danced to a good song. "Kingston?" she asked in a small voice.
Wanda swallowed and then smiled lightly, "I think that I may be in love with you..." she told him, looking into his eyes.
In that moment Wanda forgot that she was standing on the dance floor surronded by her enemy. Because in that moment she was elsewhere. In a place that no one could hurt her. And Kingston was in that place too.
Someone bumped into her hard and caused her to almost fall over. If Kingston hadn't been there she would have collapsed. The man who had run into her was big, muscular, and obviously drunk.
He smiled when he saw Wanda. "Well I'm sorry beautiful." he told her.
Wanda kept her eyes away from his, "It's fine." she told him quickly wanting him to just go away.
The seeker looked at Kingston. "Hey mind if I steal your little lady for a dance?" he asked him.
The seeker laughed cruelly and Wanda cowered into Kingston. "Thats not the answer I wanted." he said, then grasped Wanda's upper arm and pulled her away from Kingston. She almost tripped and let out a small cry from his grip. She was no fighter and couldn't out run him. Souls were starting to stare at them.
Ash, who had been watching the whole charade, took a sideways step and whispered, "Kingston? What now?"
Wanda's bright blue eyes found Kingston's. They were filled with fear. But the seeker pulled her off the dance floor and she all of a sudden couldn't see Kingston or Ash.
Eventually the seeker pulled her out the side door and into the lit alley. She forgot for a moment about her eyes and looked into his.He froze. Seeing that she had no silver ring around her pupil. Then in the next moment he had her pinned up against the wall. She was so light that he lifted her just by pushing his forearm into her neck, under her chin. He lifted her off the ground that way and she made a choking sound, trying but failing to get air.
"You're human..." the seeker spat. His eyes merciless and cruel.
Kingston ran out of the club and into the alley. He pushed the seeker off Wanda and made sure she was ok.
On his heels, Ash raced into the alley, shocked to see Kingston had already push the Seeker aside. She quickly ran to the aliens side and knocked him unconscious.
Wanda had crumpled to the ground after Kingston had pushed the seeker off her. She had fainted because of her lack of air.
