•♦◙ Book Recommendations ◙♦•

Do you not know what to read next? Need some help?

Well here is where you can get it! If need help finding your next book I'm sure someone else in the group can recommend something to you.

So here is where everyone can come to find recommendations on books that they may like or to recommend a book they read to others.

Some ideas
If you're looking for a recommendation it might be best to start by letting everyone know what kind of book you're looking for. Or if you already have a list of books and are just not sure which to start with, post your list and ask others which they would most highly recommend and why.

If you are giving a recommendation I would suggest giving the following information:
♦ Title
♦ Author
♦ Genre
♦ Your rating ★★★★★
♦ Why you recommend it
♦ Review (if you wish)

Diane I would highly recommend The Outsider, by Penelope Williamson. It's one of my all-time favorite books. It's a romance, which I don't normally read. I find a lot of romances cheesy, but this one isn't. The characters are well written and believable, and their romance is built up slowly (to the point where you're dying for them to get together). If you like stories where the good girl and the bad boy get together you'll like this.

Sounds like a great recommendation!

Nikks I would recommend the Shane peacock series about the young sherlock Holmes - they are really great, for everyone and especially for Holmes fans.

Sally (larwos) If you want involving books I recommend anything by Luane Rice, starting with Cloud Nine.
My favourite socalled chi lit authors are Jill Mansell and Christina jones.

Wes Cuffe (wescuffe) Just finished "The Racketeer" by John Grisham, great book, Denzel Washington as lead role? I'm sure this will be made into a movie. Any Thoughts?

I love Sherlock Holmes. Are these books true to his character?

Here would be a great place to get a member to suggest a book to you for some of the challenges that call for it...

I recommend The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. It's a true story of her life growing up. Definite 5 stars
