Did I miss the suggested short stories to read or were there any mentioned?

There weren't any suggested, they talked about having people read them all and then discussing their favorites. Which is also what the ladies are going to do for next months hang out.

Bonnie mentioned that she'd suggest some of her favorites, but we are not to feel limited to those.

Does anyone seem to think it's necessary to do some research on Cthulhu before reading this? I've actually never heard of this genre so I'm coming into it without knowing anything about it.

I was wondering this too, I've never really read any H.P. Lovecraft and have little knowledge of the Cthulhu genre...I might do some research. It's exciting to be learning about a new genre!

Hi! I'm the editor of the book. I designed it so that a knowledge of HP Lovecraft's work makes the stories have another layer of meaning, but isn't necessary to read them. You should be just fine.

Shoot, I thought we were going to be reading Whispers in the Darkness (which I already have). I didn't realize there was even MORE Lovecraft erotica.
