Trylle Trilogy discussion

So, I find Hocking's idea of trolls and such very genuine, but what about you? Ever read a book with similar concepts?

oddly enough. i think i have. not totally similar but enough for it to strike a chord in me.
ever read "Wings" by Aprilynne Pike?

which is weird, cause I've never read about the troll concept until these 2 series.

so basically, laura's also kinda been placed in the human world to inherit. (another similarity: inheritance)
and the sentry that's guarding her (Tove, anyone?)... well you know what's that gunna be all about.

so i don't know. i can't say that Hocking stole Pike's idea but it was just weird how they were pretty similar.

A very similar series would be the iron fey series. The iron fey series consist of The Iron King, The Iron Daughter, The iron Queen, and The Iron Knight. The author is Julie Kagawa. So if you liked the trylle series then you will love the Iron Fey series as well.

I haven't read anything like it, but I am enjoying it a lot.
It is very interesting so far and I want to continue with the Trylle Trylogy.
I am usually very bad at reading books because I find it hard to continue reading and I am very bad at concentration but I find this book easy to read even if it means taking it slowly and going back a few pages to remember what I have read.
So far I give the book 4.5 stars.
I find it really interesting and a book that I can concentrate on.

No and it drives me crazy I can't find one ... im going to look into that iron fey series though! =)

okay wait... not that it had any of the same concept but the hex hall series by rachel hawkins reminded me of the characters, so if anything I would recommend that =)
