Many of you may be wondering: what is Collaboration? Well let me tell you (along with some very few rules).

Collaboration consists (or will consist) of Genre folders. The first threads of these folders will be the Guidelines and Requests.

The Guidelines will tell you what is and what is not allowed for that Genre. For those who believe that Genres are limiting, the Mod(s) will make sure that they are not. For example, if you make a thread in the Fantasy section, that will not stop you from also making the story a suspense.

The Request folder is not for the Mod(s). It is for the individuals who wish to participate. You will post your name, genre, and how many people you wish to collaborate with, and then discuss with the people who respond such things as who will make the folder and who will do the first chapter.

Now the fun part! After you have read the Guidelines and made your Request, you get to start writing!!! Whoever you picked to go first, will write a chapter. The next person will then write a chapter based on what he/she thinks the person before them is going. Please do not tell each other what the theme, plot, or anything like that is! That is the challenge for this group. A collaboration without knowing what the other writer is thinking. You may point out typos, but anything dealing with characters, settings, plot, etc you may not correct! Grammar or general writing style critique is allowed with permission from the author.

During the time you are working on a story, you may go back to the Requests folder in your genre or other genres to create more. Please do not leave a thread permenently without telling the person you're collaborating with and finding a replacement. You may tell your replacement your idea for the story through personal messages so that they may be a good replacement of you.

Thank you for your time in reading this. Now go have fun!
