i saw it on this sight ibm on a list called books being made into movies but when i went back to see if there was a date i couldnt find it but fingers crossed though.

made for TV Movie... I hope it's in theaters... I love this series :D

Thats soo cool. I have read the first book and i really liked it. Im normally not one for fairy or fairy tale books but this was a great book. I hope it becomes a movie

should not be made for tv that would suck. but theatres? yes!

On July 14, 2009, Variety announced that The Walt Disney Company had optioned the film rights to Wings, with Miley Cyrus attached to star as Laurel.

Miley Cyrus? Ugh. And I heard it was coming out in 2014. Why so long the wait?

I dont like Miley Cyrus either and since that link said that it was suppost to be produced in 2009, with Miley as Laural, it has been a few years and Miley is too old to be Laural now. So I dont think Miley will be Laural. Fingers crossed

Miley doesnt even look like Laural. She would have to die her hair and I think grow it out longer

I would love this to be a movie, but then usually when they make books into movies they mess it up and then I get disappointed, because its not what I imagined of its to far off the book.

I agree! They always miss something, completely change an aspect of the book or they just choose awful actors *Cough* Miley Cyrus *Cough*

Great book. Great series. AWFUL ACTOR: MILEY CYRUS. This is going to be an awesome movie, only seeing Miley in it would make me disappointed. laurel is so nice and beautiful, and smart. So i cant see Miley as laurel at all! On the other hand i an anxious to find out who Tamani and David are! FREAKS OUT!!!!! OMG!! Can't wait.

I mean think about it, back then she would have been suitable but no way now! Do you really think Aprilynne Pike would waste her books on her?......I don't know about I really think that someone like Ashley Benson from the teenage hit show "Pretty Little Liars" should play Laurel.....She'd be great!:)

I Hope that's the case, Miley has a tattoo right? How are they going to hide that in a movie?! I completely agree with Ashley being laurel, I would be grateful if she was.

I would be so happy if they made ths into a movie but Miley Cyrus can't play Laurel, theirs just too many complications for it to work

hey cookie monster I read the book wings by april lynne pike and ive been wondering for the longest time when the movie would be coming out in theaters. i just saw your post that said ugghhhh i heard it was coming out in 2014. is this miley cyrus wings movie still set to come out in theaters this year, you said you heard it would be coming out sometime 2014. do you know of a movie theater release date?

i haven't been able to find a movie theater release date for it. ive looked all over internet for miley cyrus wings movie release date on lots of search engines and nothing about a release date comes up.

i wanna see the movie. ive been waiting forever for it to come out.
