It's your favorites of the books that you've read in 2012. I know, that could make it harder to choose. I'm mean like that(not really). lol Additionally, if you read a lot of books, feel free to list more than 10 or, if you're more selective, less.

Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my favorite movies ever! I haven't had a chance to read the book yet though.

You should definitely read the book sometime. The movie was good but the book beats it by a margin I think

I agree with Sanz, the book is full of interesting little details that they did not include into the movie.

I will move it up on my tbr.

Other than Gunmetal Magic, I haven't read any of these so I guess I need to add to TBR pile.

That's some serious organization, I'm impressed! You never realize just how much stuff you have until you have to put it in boxes. Hope the remodeling is going well!

Funny that you should say that, Susanne, because it is all so seriously disorganized. Things have been moved multiple times. I put something somewhere and one of the workmen asks me to move it. Then another comes along and asks me if they can move it again. LOL! The trials and tribulations of renovating the whole house. I don't know where anything is. Except the 27 boxes of books I have labeled A-Z. LOL! Certainly not the books that didn't make it to the boxes!

It's nice to know that you have your priorities right - of course the books should be organized the best! LOL!

That's right, Susanne! LMBO! They were first. Wanted to be able to get my hands on something, if I needed it for a challenge, "buddy read," etc. As it is, I've been digging through boxes.

i'm going to try to determine my top 10 and add more as I think of them. Order isn't set yet.

I narrowed it down to three because I feel like they were the best of all.

I've attempted to narrow down my favorites to ten. These are books I read in 2012, not books written this year. Edit: Expanded it to fifteen. Couldn't kick anybody off when I added in The Diviners and Feed.

Awesome! That sounds like a plan.

I wouldn't mind re-reading them before Requiem comes out. If I have time, that is. I usually need a refresher when a new book comes out in a series I'm reading because I have a terrible memory.

Ditto, Mary! I will be rereading Hunger Games and Catching Fire before the movie comes out.

That's been out for quite some time, I think it was published in 2010?, but for some reason, nobody knows about it. I've recommended it to everyone I know who enjoys historical fiction :)
