This is the place to meet new people and chat about those useless (and bizzarre) things that happened in your day.

Gigi (triv_s) | 49 comments Well today I got got given a 2000 word essay on the Cuban Missile Crisis and I have a party tonight, am meeting up with a friend all day tommorow, have a party tommorow night, have a fathers day lunch on Sunday and am going to the football Sunday night >.< There is no way that essay is getting done. Look how hard it is to be a student *sarcasm*

Okay. That was totally random but I felt like saying it haha.

message 3: by Alicia (new)

Alicia (ughleasha) Haha I'm not even in classes yet (I'm in college) but I am going to Salem, MA tomorrow with my friends for funsies :) and then I have until Wednesday to relax before classes start.

Today, my twelve yearold brother stuck a toy rubber tire up his nose (again.)

Sorry Triv. Believe it or not, I envy you. I wish I could be busy and didn't have to work.. *sigh*

Haha I know I have it pretty easy compared even to other kids my age.

I wouldn't say easy. Could you imagine juggling in detention though?

Gigi (triv_s) | 49 comments Becca wrote: "I wouldn't say easy. Could you imagine juggling in detention though?"

Ugh detentions. I just don't get the point. I get them for the most ridiculous reasons. People skip school for weeks, nothing happens, then I get two hour after school friday detentions for being late because I had a dentist appointment. *Face palm*

Oh and sticking things up your nose really, really hurts! I inhaled a bead once and I had to go to hospital :-P That sucks!

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
He does it all the time. He really should know better. He is twelve, and kind of immature. He used to stick pennies up there for magic tricks. The doctor was better at magic tricks; he was the only one able to get it out.

And today my brother stuck a cherry pit up his nose.
.It took forever to get out.

I lost my brother at school on his first day... He apparently doesn't own a drop of common sense...

message 12: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
How old is he? He seriously got lost. Brothers these days: sticking cherry pits in their nostrils and gettting lost at school... *sigh*

message 13: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
He's 11... its quite sad since he apparently has a high IQ...

message 14: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
I think all the normal people with common sense should have the higher IQs. Its no fair to us who have to actually use our skills...

When my boyfriend was 8 he got a Lego stuck in his throat - you know the kind with the hole in the middle? His mom has kept it to this day calling it the $6,000 Lego....!!!

Um... well my brother swallowed a marbel once... I don't want to know what happened to it...

message 18: by Amy (new)

Amy (aimzees02) | 83 comments LOLOLOL! I really hope he didn't find it and use it again...

message 19: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

A used half-swallowed marble. I would not use that!

Me neither...

I am a fail of a trumpet player...

message 21: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
No you aren't! Nobody can be worse than the trumpeters in my high school band!

message 22: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
I'm not actually that bad... There's this kid in my music class who can't play anything higher than a low E... But compared to the band, I am the worst player in existance...

I don't really know. I can't even remember who first told me penguins were awesome. I think it was my cousin, whom I idolized and wanted to be exactly like. I guess it kinda stuck *shrugs* Or maybe I feel bad about the whole no-flying thing.. I don't know.

That makes sense... I do feel bad for penguins being the only birds that can't fly...

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
I know. When my mom first told me that when I was three, I ran into my room and cried. I also cried when I found out my favorite day of the week (Tuesday) ended with the word 'day'.

message 31: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
I would have as well... But why was it so tragic that Tuesday ends with the word day?

message 32: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
I don't know. Even back then I wanted to be original? I was a very emotional three year old..

message 33: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
LOL! I guess I was an original child... As far as I know no other kids called adults "humans"...

message 34: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
Sometimes I have people ask me if I am human. I am always like, "I think I have some Martian and koala back there... My great uncle had a child with a Vegas party girl. I don't think they're human..."

message 35: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
:D Nice! With my friends we have a "family" set up, and it's pretty disturbing... Two of my friends (both girls) are my "mom" and "dad" while another friend is my "sister" and I was unluckily dubbed with the title "brother"... And my "mom" had a relationship with a platypus apparently so that's in there somewhere too... And then one of my friends is our "godmother, aunt" and my "sister"'s "wife" (temporarily, since we had to a project where we had little eggs, and they were working together...)

That is quite possibly the most hilarious thing I've ever heard :)

Glad you think its funny Amy! I was quite the interesting child. One time, my grandma took me to get pictures taken with me wearing angel wings, and while we were waiting I was reading a picture book. When it came time to get the pidtures, I refused to put away the book, so they took a pic of me with a book! It reflects my personality to this day!

My frieends and I used to play like that. My friends boyfriend would be her husband, I would be their mutant half pony half human, and another guy was my adopted sibling.

I wish I was allowed to take pictures like that as a kid... I always had to look up and smile... Although I could never read in the car, since I get motion-sick...

It's fun, actually, because we always pretend to be a family (well almost usually, anyways...) and it's funny when nobody gets it... Plus we are the "Whackadoodles" so that is pretty much the tip of the iceberg of our craziness...

message 39: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
Ahh... the endless iceberg of craziness. Sometimes you wisb itwould just go away because its so cold, but sometimes its more like an old friend.

message 40: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 183 comments Mod
Very... The iceberg of craziness is comforting, while frustrating. And I have reached an other layer, because a few days ago I learned that in a couple decades the north pole will have melted almost entirely... Unlike other people, the first thought that came to my mind was "What about Santa Claus?"

message 41: by Becca, The Mind Behind The Awesomeness. And Lover of Penguins. (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 365 comments Mod
Santa Claus better watch out, or else he is screwed. Very.
