And if you'd like suggestions or recommendations from a children's library associate perspective, I'm happy to share mine!
I have a 7 month old, so we are mostly reading picture books - not too long, rhymes a plus.Is Your Mama a Llama is a favorite at the moment. We've also been reading The Napping House and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See pretty regularly.
Is Your Mama a Llama was my favorite for about 3-4 years straight :P I'll be bummed if my as-yet-nonexistent children don't like it!
Speaking of llamas, Anna Dewdner has a series of Llama Llama board books for toddlers. My two year old loves Llama Llama Nighty-Night. I'm looking forward to reading Llama Llama Red Pajamas soon!
Michelle, I am just now catching up with my Goodreads groups and I don't know that I have time to post to this group, but if you want to friend me I usually review my program books, for my reference for future use.

What books have you been reading with your children, how old are they, and what would you recommend to other parents of similarly aged children?
