I seriously want your library. It always has great books that have already come out. There seems to be an Alice theme going on. I wouldn't mind seeing more.

It's really small so I was like nope, not happening lol."Oh my god, Sara. I do exactly the same thing when considering a move! Well, I did the one time I was considering a move. haha. We didn't move, not directly because of the library system, but it did have an impact on the decision. :P
Hahaha! I feel like I need to do the same thing before I move. It's really important! It's where I get most of my books. Also, the book limit is important too.
There's actually no book limit at my library. One is allowed to check out as many books as one can carry. I've borrowed at least a dozen books on more than one occasion.
Are you sure? Because you do read continuously all the time so I can see where you don't reach the 50 mark. If so then that's great.
The "50 mark"? I don't think I've ever heard of that. Is fifty books the limit that can be checked out by one patron at a time at most libraries?
Mine's 50 ):It's not fair too! I live in Miami! There are plenty of books. But there really should be a limit because I lose enough money already. Well, not anymore because I've downsized my library reads.
How many books would you say you have at one time?
Do you live in a heavily populated area Trevor?
I'm in Calgary, Canada. We've got over a million people and 18 library branches.I have had as many as 40 out at once, but most were picture books. And I never get around to reading them all before they are due, so I have no idea why I keep taking more out! haha
All kinds. Whatever catches my eye when I'm at work, I'll take home and read. I was reading with a group for a while but it's easier just to do my own thing instead. Here's my bookshelf of picture books I've read: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...
Cute! I don't really get children's books out of the library. I've done it like twice but I feel someone's going to look at me strangely and anyways the books in the system are just okay. You should look up Peter H. Reynolds. He's a great illustrator and his book sound and are beautiful.
haha, a couple of my workmates look at me funny but I just laugh it off. They assume I'm getting them for a younger sibling, and I let them do that. lol. Peter Reynolds sounds familiar, I'll look him up for sure.
They don't care, they just think it's odd I guess. The librarians in charge of children's story time don't look twice, they just discuss them with me and everyone else rolls their eyes at us. lol
