Gold was considering. Macy's...American Eagle...Wet Seal...H&M...too many choices....

Lyn was making her way through the crowds, walking with bags in her hands. She'd just finished her school shopping, but there was still one more place she had to go to before she left, the food court.

Gold started walking in a random direction.

((*shrugs* Lyn just kind of, supposivly, moved from Maryland, supposivly i ugess.))

Gold saw a person...odd, she had never seen her before...she thought she knew most everyone from around here. "Hey," she said, coming up to the girl (Lyn).

Lyn turned around and saw someone. "Oh hi." she said rather akwardly.

"Are you new?" Gold asked brightly.

"Yeah, just moved from Maryland about a week ago."

"Cool! Did you enroll in school yet? Which grade are you going to be in? Do you know which school you're going to be in yet?" Gold couldn't shut up long enough for Lyn to answer.

"The public high school down the street..."

"Oh cool. I am too. But my mom might make me be in the private school next year." Gold made a face. "Oh that is a cute top which store is it from?"

"That's cool. I used to be in private till we moved." she said and looked at her shirt. "The one I'm wearing?"

Gold shook her head and pointed at a bag.
((she's a vamp so she can c through the bag...lolz and she doesn't realize that lyn can't....))

Lyn looked at her. "I haven't taken it out yet. How do you know what's in it?"

"Huh?" Gold switched to normal vision. "Oh...you haven't...."

"I haven't what?" Lyn asked, almost taking a step back.

"Taken it out yet," Gold finished her sentence. "It's a weird ability I have."

"What do you mean?" she asked, reaching for her phone. This person was a total weirdo in her mind right about now.

"You have not taken the top out of the bag. Seeing through things is a weird ability I have," Gold said slowly and clearly.

"Um okay..."

"Sorry," Gold said, "weird moment over."

Lyn just looked at her. "If you say so." she said catiously.

Gold rolled her eyes. "Seriously."
Just then what had to be the absolutely most fiiiiiiiiiine boy on earth came over. "Hey Gold, don't freak the newbie out just yet, wait until she gets settled in," he chuckled.

Lyn turned around and smiled shyly. "Hi." she said.

"Hey, I'm Kyle," Kyle said.
((he's a vamp and he looks watever is the finest look 4 ur personal taste! *squeal!*))

"Nice to meet you," Kyle said, falling in step with them.

"Thanks. Nice to meet you to." she said totally forgetting about Gold's weirdness.

"He goes to our school too," Gold whispered in Lyn's ear.

Lyn could feel a blush cross her face for no reason. "Oh." she said.

"Miiiiiiiiiine!" Gold hissed in Lyn's ear, then giggled.
Kyle rolled his eyes. "Must you in front of me?"
"Sorry!" Gold said, grinning at him, and Kyle grinned back.

Lyn felt the blush deepen. "Sorry." she squeeked.

New girl crushin' on me already?
Of course.
Don't be jealous, sweetie.
I'm not. Gold grinned. You've had 500 years to change your mind and you still haven't.
During this mental conversation, Kyle looked at Lyn and his grin widened a little, almost showing his fangs.

Lyn's eyes widened a little when she saw what could have been fangs. They could just be abnormally long teeth. she htought to herslef and smiled back.

Gold slapped Kyle's arm playfully. "I'm freaking the new girl out? Hypocrite!"
Kyle rolled his eyes. "She's OK, aren't you, Lyn?"

Lyn nodded. "Yeah I'm okay."

"Good," Kyle said.
"Ooh, by the way, you probably don't know this, but there's a prom in 2 weeks!" Gold said. "So unless you have a dress, you need to get one..." 'and get a boyfriend fast', she mouthed when Kyle wasn't looking.

Lyn groaned. "Just great." she muttered.

"Why am I getting the feeling that all the males in the school will suddenly be very interested in the new girl on Monday?" Kyle asked, grinning at Gold.
"Ummm, well, I don't know. I guess you just have that feeling. I don't know where it could have come from," Gold said innocently.

Lyn looked at them. "What are you talking about?" she asked them.

"You'll see," Gold said, starting to skip away. "I'll see you in school tomorrow!" she called before disappearing into a shop.

Lyn groaned. "Oh no!" she said.
