The last Blogger Book Fair was 4 days long. It started on a thursday and ended on a sunday. What do you guys think we should do? Keep it the same or change the number of days/days of the week it happens?

David Kirk I thought the last one was fine. Longer may water down the impact, not sure. I thought the sense of urgency to visit the short event may have helped. I know I had the greatest number of visits to my site in a four day period that I ever had.

That's great! I think the length was pretty nice too. What about the days of the week? would it be better to do weekend days like we did or week days?

David Kirk I vote for like we did.

Okay then, we have 3 options for dates, January 24th-27th, January 31st - February 3rd, or February 7th - 10th. Personally I'm thinking Jan 24-27 or Feb 7-10 to keep it in one month. it will be easier to talk about on twitter and stuff if its contained in one calendar month. Thoughts?

Jolena | 2 comments I think the February dates will be better as that will give everyone a chance to recover from their Christmas spending. ^_^

I'd like to have it before Valentines Day so that we can advertise to people buying books as gifts for Valentines Day. So I think that February 7-10 would be best. That way it's relevant to Valentines Day, it's far enough after Christmas and it's contained in a calendar month.

Brandon Luffman (brandonrluffman) | 4 comments Just to clarify, I meant the later dates you suggested. :-)

In hindsight, my previous post wasn't very clear about that. LOL!

Ha ha, no problem! I thought that was what you meant but wasn't totally sure.
