Audrey (audreyjb) Please take the time to read through these rules. They are very important.

Infractions may result in action from a warning to immediate removal from the group with no warning.

General

1. Respect the mods. They are basically your leaders. Just respect everyone, really, but mods especially.

2. Remember, we all have lives outside of Goodreads. If someone isn't responding, please don't spam them after a mere 24 hours of them not responding. Wait a week, then send them a message.

3. Do not bother the mods for information about what's going to happen. We will not tell you, and if a mod does tell you what's going to happen, THEY (and you) ARE BREAKING THE RULES.

4. No name-calling, racial slurs, etc. Try to avoid fights. If you can't seriously resolve something between you and another member, talk to a mod about it.

5. Ask a mod if you want to create a topic. Don't create one yourself, even if you have permission from a mod. This is because if other members see that a non-mod has created a topic, they may think it is okay for them to create one as well.

6. No chatting in topics where it doesn't belong. If you chat in a topic where chatting is not allowed, I will let it sit for 24 hours so that whoever it is directed towards can read it, and then it will be deleted.

Character Creation

1. For the love of God and all that is good and holy, no anime. (Or cartoons, or paintings; basically, use real people.)

2. ORIGINAL FREAKING CHARACTERS. Absolutely no celebrities or TV characters. That shows us you're not creative and can't think up a character by yourself. Try not to use any characters from old RPs either, even if they're you're own, unless the RP is inactive.

3. Please don't use pictures of celebrities. (No Channing Tatum, sorry!) If you can't find a picture of your character, that's okay! You can just type up their appearance, as long as it's descriptive. If you really need a picture, ask for help in the chat topic or even the questions topic.

4. Try to keep an even balance of genders. I will freeze females if I have to.

5. Depending on their age, your characters can only have personalities from before the sorting. No "breaking through" the mold, at least not yet.

6. Current character limit is 10. If that's too restricting for everyone, I'll change it if needed. I would have it unlimited, but I really don't want inactive charries.

7. Try to be creative. Yes, it's a restricting world, but that doesn't mean that every person who ever lived in this world had a rebellious personality. Not happening. Don't be afraid to make your charrie shy or non-rebellious.

The Actual Roleplay

1. This is an advanced roleplay, and I expect everyone to treat it as such.
1a. Use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. (If you're on your iPod/iPhone/iPad and are a frequent victim of autocorrect, please say so! We'll learn to assume rather than be confused by your weird speech :P)
1b. I will NOT tolerate any posts shorter than a paragraph (3-5 sentences). Not even for dialogue. What is your character thinking/feeling? Use those precious letters you have to tell us!

2. I apologize, but we can't all be heroes. Love and hope cannot save everyone.

3. Your character cannot use name-calling or racial slurs either, even if it's their personality. I'm not going to take that as an excuse. DO NOT USE OFFENSIVE WORDS.

4. Keep it PG-13. Take your sexy scenes to another group. This isn't the place for them. I don't care if you like writing erotic scenes, but not in this roleplay - I want to keep things comfortable for all members. (No f-bombs, either, please.)

5. Don't have your character in two places at once!

For the Mods

1. Don't be offended if I don't choose you! If I chose everyone who applied, that would completely defeat the purpose of being chosen. If you want to know why I didn't choose you, send me a private message and I'll tell you (as nicely as I can).

2. You may create topics as you like, but don't delete any without my permission.

3. Please try to keep the group active! This goes for everyone, but especially mods.

4. As mentioned above, do not reveal any of the plot to non-mods. I probably won't ever give you permission and would prefer to do it myself.
