General Plot

In the year 2084, a president was elected that a certain political party strongly disagreed with. This political party was never acknowledged and unappreciated. The name of this party was "Runa." They managed to recruit enough people to overthrow the president and take over the entire United States. Maybe there would have been a rising up against Runa, but the thing was, everyone agreed with Runa's ideals and the promises that Runa made sounded pretty dang good to everyone. Runa was going to create the perfect society.

Unfortunately, like many presidential candidates, Runa's promises were empty and hollow, and to maintain control they came up with a solution. They somehow were able to wrangle everyone into separate groups. No one knows how these groups are chosen, or even how many there are. The only thing that is known is that once you are separated into your individual group, no one keeps their individuality. You wear the same things, have the same goals, the same personality, and you sleep in dorms. Everyone is happy. (Artificially happy, but still happy.)

Runa named this society after themselves and still remain in control to this day. There are no rebellions. There is no individuality.

Average Childhood of a Runa Citizen

When you are born, you are taken away from your parents. They will never know you and you will never know them. You are not connected to anyone from the moment you are born to the moment you die, with no family and no friends. You will not have any friends because you are raised in isolation, in a room all by yourself with only a middle aged woman you will never learn the name of who teaches you and gives you food, but remains completely stoic throughout your childhood.

You will have a personality as you grow up, although it may not be very strong because there is no one to encourage it.

Once you reach the age of 16, you are sorted into your groups via a test. You will then live in your group and do the job your group is assigned.
