Are there any YA fantasy/ paranormal books that are NOT parts of trilogies or (sigh) multiiiiii-book series?
I really really loved Chime mostly because it was a complete book. It did not end on yet another love triangle cliffhanger.
Clockwork Heart was another great book that was whole and contained.
Know anything similar?
Do you get the impression that the industry hesitant to publish anything in the genre that is a stand-alone book?

I agree with you about the stand alone books. There are few and fewer of them every year and I am constantly chasing down series. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing but still waiting is such a painful thing =)
I love this book so much and it had something to do with witches. I love witch stories, I want to read more of them. The romance was cute and so real.
