Elaina Pendragon and James Potter's duel

Elaina cautiously approached the door to the trophy room, concerned that it was slightly ajar. Praying that Filch wasn't doing some late night cleaning, she tiptoed down the stairwell. When she reached the bottom, she scanned the room, her eyes darting from left to right as she searched for her opponent. "James?" she whispered. "Are you here?"

Slowly walks down the stairs of the trophy room, sees Elaina at the end of the stairway, I'm here he whispers.

"Excellent." she grins. "I thought for a moment you had chickened out."

Oh, I don't chicken out walks to the other end of the trophy room taking out his black hawthorn and phoenix feather wand

Drawing her own wand. "Well I assume you uphold the traditional formalities?" she says as she bows, not taking her eyes off James.

" Of course", bows, smiling in a suspicious matter.

Elaina gives a sly smile. "Then you won't mind me saying, ladies first?" Suddenly she points her wand at James and yells "Petrificus Totalus!"

Dodges the spell by ducking, stupefy, avis, sectumsempra, all three spells coming from three different directions heading for Elaina

Elaina has a split-second of panic before she comes to her senses and yells "Protego Totalum!" The spells are blocked just in time but the force of the impact makes Elaina stagger backwards into a trophy cabinet. Before James can send another wave of spells, she points her wand at his legs and cries "Tarantallegra!"

I have to go for today we can resume this duel tomorrow

He is hit with the spell and starts dancing, I don't think so, takes a little control and points at Elaina, Stupefy, the spell hits her and I smile

Elaina rolls her eyes and says the counter spell in her head. "Enervate." she thinks. Immediately she feels the effects of the spell lift and points her wand at James yelling "Petrificus Totalus!" for the second time. She grins as it finds her target and James keels over backwards.

He counts himself lucky that his wand was still in his hand he mutters the countercurse, at a mirror which makes the spell bounce back to him he says sectumsempra!

Elaina lets out a sharp hiss of breath as large gashes appear on her arms and face. Blood trickles off her fingertips and she looks down in horror, the rusty taste of blood in her mouth making her retch. Gone dizzy, she collapses to her knees and faintly mumbles the counter curse. "Vulnera Sanentur". The wounds heal but the blood remains, still fresh and bright. Wearily she gets back on her feet and eyes James as she clings onto a trophy cabinet for support.

He knows the end was approaching, Stupefy, Langlock, and Accio wand, he grabs her wand

Elaina falls to the floor, defeated. She looks up at James with pleading eyes, silently begging him to undo the spells that disable her body.

Undos the spells and helps her up, lets get out of here

"Thanks, yeah let's get back to our dorms before filch finds us."
