Jace Bullough (jaceb247) | 23 comments Some good ones are Medusa Girls, and The Riyria Revelations are especially high up in my "you should read this" list. If you want something to grab you I love the author Sarah M. Eden my favorite novel of hers being The Kiss of a Stranger. Then if your looking to be entertained by some very good morbid humor and adrenaline thrill read 'I am Not a Serial Killer' one of the best YA reads I've ever read.

The Luxe series is great if you haven't already read it and you like historical fiction. The Selection is AMAZING! If you just want a fun, addicting book then it's a good one. Some people might think this is kiddish but The Heroes of Olympus series is great, of course if you have already read Percy Jackson. It is a little more grown up than the Percy Jackson series and it's got great humor!

cool. Maybe I will check the first one out from the library

Jace Bullough (jaceb247) | 23 comments Eragon is probably one of my favorite books, but in the whole series I would have to say that the third one is the best out of the four. And whatever you don't fall out of them during the second one, even though I will admit in one place it does drag. (If you don't like the second one, just read the re-cap at the begining of the third, supposedly their's enough review, I don't thinks so though)

Beatrice Cosgrove | 3 comments I just read Fangirl from Rainbow Rowell and WOW ! That was just amazing. Seriously, I can't tell you how much I loved this book. At first, when I looked at the cover and everything, I thought it was going to be some cute but kind of cheesy story, the kind of story you enjoy while reading it but forget about it as soon as you've finished it. But GOD I was wrong ! Fangirl is so much more than that. It's such a beautiful story, with adorable characters. Anyways. You MUST read Fangirl, I promess it's a wonderful book that won't disappoint you !

I'll second "Please Ignore Vera Dietz"!
I love AS King's work. I've read all but one of her books, and that's only because I can't seem to track down her book "Monica Never Shuts Up"...she's a great writer who puts cool characters in strange situations. Although out of all her books I've tried, "Reality Boy" was my least favorite, but that's off topic...

"Wintergirls" is another good one. Haunting and a bit disturbing, but worth the read.

message 41: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Ramirez (melissaramirez) | 281 comments I just recently finished Perfect Escape, by Jennifer Brown.

I rated it four stars, and it's been a while since I "really liked" a book! Most of my recent reads have been three-stars. :)
Anyway, this one follows two teenage siblings (17 and 19); and the girl's older brother is dealing with OCD. She becomes determined to cure him by taking him on a road trip across the Midwest, to see her former next-door-neighbor Zoe, hoping that visiting Zoe will take the edge off of his almost-unmanageable compulsions.

A pretty good read, overall!

Havnt read it. Is it good? I would totally reccomend Reckless Magic. It is not as shiny as some books are, but don't judge it by its cover, its price or its popularity. Even though the first one is free on kindle and not very well known, it is one of my absolute favorite books!!!! Please give it a try!!!!
