The book does have an environmental spin as there is a lot of description about the animals and plants of the zoo and the effects of the war upon them. However, I'm not sure if this counts so I won't add the 10 extra points until I "know for sure". (Even though I really, really want to!)

Hmmmm - that's a tough one, April. War does have an environmental effect, for sure. This particular book may be a stretch, but go ahead and add it in.

Janice, I was surprised. Was expecting to rate it a 2 or 3 but I gave it a 4. I really liked it! I can't figure out if I like because I know dreamboat Matthew plays the main character's part in the movie, or if it really is a good book. now it is time to see the movie. You should read it. It's a quick read.

Yes, it is interesting. "Never judge a book by its cover" speaks volumes. However, a cover does seem to make a difference!
