Seconded! I'm currently listening to O Jerusalem (I've a long way to catch up, I know haha) and I love Jenny Sterlin's readings of the novels.

Julie | 9 comments Laurie, I just finished reading Garment of Shadows. My only disappointment was it ended too soon. I was intrigued to learn you are working on a new book called City of Dark. Is it a stand alone or are you expanding on one of your other excellent works , like Touchstone?

Yes, I'm very sorry, and disappointed in Recorded Books, which not only hasn't released it when they said, they haven't responded to my increasingly desperate questions.

As for future projects, that won't be the title, but it is going to be a sequel to Touchstone, set in Paris 1929.

Kat Braden | 3 comments You really got me with the Archimedes Palimpsest! I was so sure it was more recent as I have followed the work of the various groups at the Walters Museum. Glad you were right (1906) and I was wrong. It and the Antikythera Mechanism have rocked my mind more than anything else for the genius of the ancient world.

Love, love, love the inclusion of the Palimpsest and the accompanying analogy of the city as another palimpsest of history...ahhhh!!!!!!

How do you DO it, O Great One?

I so enjoy it when readers like to play the game along with me!

Louise Chambers (louisec303) | 1 comments Hello! I just used Whispersync to purchase the Audible version of the Amazon Kindle Garment of Shadows. Hurray! Love the voices.

What is most interesting is that hearing the name Krim instead of reading it reminded me that long ago I dated a man named Krim. He looked more like a Viking than an Arab, though.

I was wondering, Laurie, if you happen to know the origins of the name Krim? Or does anyone else?

Thanks ever so. Happy listening.

Louise
