Around the World in 80 Books discussion

Post your nominations here for the December books of the month. We will be traveling to Austria for our world selection, and Delaware for our US state selection. Books must be set in featured area, or at least have a significant portion of book set in the featured area.

Austria: Correction by Thomas Bernhard.

I intended to read soon for Austria A Death In Vienna and for Delaware (not so soon I am afraid) The Year Of The Lucy, so thought these might be good suggestions (at least for me ;)

Austria: The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain

For Austria, I'd take Leviathan and for Delaware, Contents Under Pressure

I've never heard of The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain. All of these are new titles for me.

It is one of his lesser known works. It's not often taught because of its controversial subject matter. I have not read it, but I thought it looked like an interesting read.
